The TrakRyder shock absorbers with double-tube Foam Cell technology are high-performance shock absorbers designed to provide constant and precise ride control without compromising comfort on the most demanding terrains.


Under normal conditions, the oil flows through the piston valves providing the necessary control, but under demanding conditions, the 'cavitation' effect can occur where small gas bubbles mix with the oil. These bubbles are easily compressible, significantly reducing the shock absorber's performance.


The TrackRyder shock absorbers from Pedders have a thicker design and therefore a larger piston diameter, offering better control of oil flow through the valves under normal conditions. In demanding or even extreme conditions, the shock absorber maintains its efficiency thanks to the foam cell technology that prevents bubble formation while facilitating heat dissipation. Another advantage of a double-tube design like the Pedders TrakRyder, especially in off-road driving, is that if rocks hit the shock absorber body and dent it, it will not damage it or affect the shock absorber's operation.
