KINETIC ROPE:
The Saber Offroad Kinetic Recovery Rope is one of the most effective recovery tools you can carry in your vehicle. Compared to tow straps or even a traditional snatch strap, the benefits of using a kinetic recovery rope are clear as day. The key feature that makes this kinetic recovery rope so effective is its stretchability. When put under load, it stretches up to 30%, which brings many benefits during vehicle recovery. With kinetic recovery ropes, some slack can be left before the recovering vehicle starts the recovery. Having tested the shackles at an NATA accredited facility in Melbourne, Saber Offroad shackles perform at a superior level compared to many other tested products from competitors.
By combining Saber Offroad's soft double braided 9000 kg shackles with an 8200 kg kinetic recovery rope, a much safer recovery will occur. There are examples everywhere of ungraded (and in some cases graded) metal shackles failing during recovery, causing damage to vehicles and, more importantly, to those inside and around the vehicles.
