As the load increases, the distance between the frame and the axle bump stop decreases, meaning less is needed to reach the suspension stop and cause damage. The assist kits allow maintaining the desired height regardless of the loading condition, maximizing suspension travel and reducing the possibility of damage, suspension fatigue, and abrupt displacement due to reaching the suspension stop.

Unbalanced loads can cause the front of the vehicle to lose contact with the road and even cause insufficient headlight illumination, leading to steering issues. The kit maintains the correct vehicle level and geometry, preventing these problems and therefore increasing safety.
