The Trakryder shock absorbers with dual-tube Foam Cell technology are high-performance shock absorbers designed to provide constant and precise ride control without compromising ride comfort on the most demanding terrains.

Under normal conditions, the oil passes through the piston valves offering the necessary control, but under demanding conditions, a 'cavitation' effect can occur where small gas bubbles mix with the oil. These bubbles are easily compressible, significantly reducing the shock absorber's performance.

The TrackRyder shock absorbers from Pedders, having a greater thickness and therefore a larger piston diameter, offer better control of oil flow through their valves under normal conditions. In demanding or even extreme conditions, the shock absorber maintains its efficiency thanks to the foam cell technology that prevents bubble formation while facilitating heat dissipation. Thus, this technology provides reliable and effective performance in all conditions. (see the video below)

Another advantage of a dual-tube design like the Pedders TrakRyder, especially in off-road driving, is that if stones are thrown up and dent the shock absorber body, it will not be damaged and thus will not affect the shock absorber's operation.

Features:

  • 41 mm steel piston diameter with large oil capacity.
  • 17 mm steel piston rod.
  • Foam Cell membrane that facilitates heat dissipation.
  • Optimized multi-lip piston.
  • Greater oil volume compared to conventional technology.
  • High-strength rubber bushings.
  • Great durability and reliability for any use.
