When only the best will do, this alloy recovery hitch is made from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium, making it not only incredibly strong but also lightweight. This shackle-friendly rear hitch is significantly lighter than any steel tow hitch on the market, weighing just over 1 kg.

The Australian prismatic powder coating on our aluminium rear hitches provides strong UV stability combined with stunning colours that are sure to impress. A range of colours is available, including red, blue, pink, dark grey and more.

Suitable for soft shackles and ropes:

We see no reason to design a metal product that then requires more metal to be added to the system, so this recovery tow hitch is easy to use with shackles and ropes. Although some metal shackles may fit, we actively recommend using ropes or soft shackles wherever possible.

Design flexibility:

It is designed to fit a standard 50 mm/2” tow hitch and can be installed in either the vertical or horizontal orientation.

This 8 mm soft shackle is designed to be a safer, stronger, lighter and easier-to-use alternative to metal shackles. With a rating of 9000 kg, this is a very strong soft shackle. This shackle can be used for all types of vehicle recovery, as well as marine, agricultural and other applications. Tested at a NATA-accredited facility in Melbourne, Saber Offroad shackles perform at a higher level than many other competing products tested. As with the other products in the Saber Offroad soft shackle range, this product is designed to be a safer, stronger, lighter and easier-to-use alternative to metal shackles.
