The body’s support structure and the drawers are made from corrosion-resistant galvanised steel sheet.
The drawer opening mechanism consists of a stainless steel section and a set of bearings mounted at the bottom and top of the runners, as well as on the sides of the drawer. This runner construction eliminates any play between the drawer and the support structure, ensuring that no unpleasant noises are emitted from the body while driving off-road and ensuring high reliability.
Each drawer is equipped with two dividers that can be removed as needed. The fronts are finished with electrostatic powder paint for a highly attractive finish. Both drawers have sturdy, lockable stainless steel locks. The top is made from plywood covered in felt fabric, with aluminium edging, making it blend perfectly with the car’s interior and very convenient to use.
The drawer unit is equipped with eight tie-down rings on top, allowing you to secure items on top such as fridges or other equipment. At the sides of the drawer unit and behind the rear seat there are additional storage spaces, allowing maximum use of luggage space and better organisation of the items carried on an expedition.
Installing the drawer unit does not require any vehicle modifications, and it can be removed at any time and reinstalled if needed. It does not require homologation.
