The Pedders rubber silentblocks are suitable for a wide variety of applications. Made of durable high-quality rubber, they are specifically designed to provide high levels of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) suppression in the suspension, while also offering good longevity.
Despite advances in synthetic materials, the natural performance characteristics of rubber silentblocks make them the most suitable choice for various applications. Generally, rubber silentblocks are more flexible than urethane ones and are chosen for applications that require a more flexible response. Standard rubber is most effective at reducing NVH. The aftermarket engineered rubber silentblock range from Pedders provides excellent control and response with smooth and quiet operation. However, rubber is less suitable for applications exposed to high levels of corrosive chemicals and materials such as oils, waxes, solvents, and contamination.
