This kit includes our excellent Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shock absorbers, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, as well as the necessary shackles and U-bolts to install them.
This kit is our top-of-the-line heavy-duty kit and is primarily designed to lift the vehicle and improve its loading and towing capacity. If your Ranger currently sits low in the rear when towing or carrying a load, and you operate in this condition all the time, then this kit offers a significant improvement compared to the standard vehicle.
This kit is for those who drive their vehicle heavily loaded all the time. It is not recommended to operate the vehicle without load with this kit, as it will result in an unacceptably harsh ride. Pedders sellers recommend a MINIMUM load of 400 kg in the rear at all times. However, please note that a canopy and an average tow bar will be around 130-150 kg.
This kit will raise the vehicle by +40mm providing better ground clearance and a better look. It can be used to accommodate larger tires. The dimensions quoted assume a standard vehicle. If you have additional equipment onboard at the front, such as a winch or a bull bar, this will affect the final installed height. If this is the case, please contact us as it may be necessary to supply different springs for your application.
The fully assembled Ezifit pre-mounted kits in this kit allow for quick and easy installation on your vehicle. These feature a Pedders foam cell shock absorber, a Pedders spring, as well as a new upper mount stop and boot. No need for spring compressors or reusing old parts. Just screw in directly.
After installation, we highly recommend getting a wheel alignment for optimal performance of your vehicle.
