This kit includes our excellent Pedders TrakRyder foam cell shock absorbers, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, as well as the necessary bushings and U-bolts for installation.
This is the entry-level lift kit designed primarily to raise the vehicle and improve ground clearance. If you regularly carry heavy loads or tow a trailer, then this may be one of the best heavy-duty kit options.
This kit will lift the vehicle approx. 40 mm (see actual dimensions below) allowing for better ground clearance and a more stylish look. It can be used to accommodate larger tires. The quoted dimensions assume a standard vehicle. If you have additional front-end equipment, such as a winch or a bull bar, this will affect the final installed height. If this is the case, please contact us as different springs may be required for your application.

This kit is for those who subject their vehicle to significant changes in load regularly, and for whom the full load condition exceeds what our heavy-duty kit 803246 can accommodate and where a stiffer rear spring would introduce unacceptably harsh ride quality in the unloaded state.
This kit enhances load-carrying capacity compared to the standard HILUX rear leaf spring while allowing for unloaded operation. However, our rear leaf spring, combined with our special valved shock absorber, allows us to maintain a ride comfort level when unloaded comparable to that of the standard vehicle.
While the rear leaf spring in this kit is sturdier than the standard leaf spring, there is a limit to what it can support. To assist with this, this kit comes with additional air bladders. These are installed between the rear leaf springs and the chassis rails. The supplied kit requires inflation with an air line with a valve (the same used for inflating tires) when heavily loaded to raise the rear of the vehicle to an acceptable height. An option would be the air compressor, to inflate from inside the cabin, available by purchasing our kit 499112.

These components replace the original elements. No other modifications to the vehicle are required. After installation, we strongly recommend getting a wheel alignment for optimal vehicle performance.
