This kit includes our excellent Pedders TrakRyder foam cell shock absorbers, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, as well as the necessary U bolts and bushings for installation.
This is an entry-level lift kit designed primarily to raise the vehicle and improve ground clearance. If you regularly carry heavy loads or tow a trailer, then this may be one of the best heavy-duty kit options.
This kit will lift the vehicle approximately 40 mm (see actual dimensions below), allowing for better ground clearance and a more stylish look. It can be used to accommodate larger tires. The quoted dimensions assume a standard vehicle. If you have additional front-end equipment onboard, such as a winch or a bull bar, this will affect the final installed height. If this is the case, please contact us as different springs may be required for your application.
For those using the vehicle in a loaded condition, consider one of our heavy-duty options.
Please note that starting from the 2019 model, some D-Max vehicles come with a softer and compatible rear leaf spring. Installing this kit will make the rear ride of your vehicle firmer.
The new softer leaf springs have 3 leaves, 2 primaries, and 1 secondary. The other stiffer set has 5 leaves, 3 primaries, and 2 secondaries.
A MINIMUM load of 600 kg on the rear is recommended at all times. However, note that a hardtop and an average trailer hitch will weigh around 130-150 kg.
These components replace the original elements. No other modifications to the vehicle are necessary. After installation, we strongly recommend getting a wheel alignment for optimal vehicle performance.
