This kit includes our excellent Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shock absorbers, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, as well as the necessary U-bolts and bushings to install them.
This is our third-level heavy-duty kit and is primarily designed to raise the vehicle and improve its load-carrying and towing capacity.
If your Hilux is currently sagging in the rear when towing or carrying a load, and you operate in this condition all the time, then this kit offers a significant improvement over the standard vehicle.
This kit is for those who drive their heavily loaded vehicle all the time. It is not recommended to operate the vehicle without a load with this kit. Sellers recommend a MINIMUM load of 600 kg in the rear at all times. However, note that a canopy and an average tow bar would weigh around 130-150 kg.
This kit will lift the vehicle by approximately 40 mm (please refer to the actual dimensions below) allowing for better ground clearance and a better appearance. It can be used to accommodate larger tires. The quoted dimensions assume a standard vehicle. If you have additional front-end equipment on board, such as a winch or bull bar, this will affect the final installed height. If this is the case, please contact us as it may be necessary to supply different springs for your application.
The fully assembled Ezifit struts in this kit allow for quick and easy installation on your vehicle. These feature a Pedders foam cell shock absorber, a Pedders spring, as well as a new upper mount stop and boot. No need for spring compressors or reusing old parts. Simply bolt on directly.
After installation, we strongly recommend getting a wheel alignment for optimal performance of your vehicle.
