The Know Rope Friendly recovery hook has been designed to provide a safe and stronger way to connect your kinetic strings for the recovery of a vehicle. It has been specially designed to provide a larger curvature radius suitable for soft shackles, eliminating the requirement of metal shackles. With vertical and horizontal holes, the hook can be rotated 90 degrees if the recovery angle requires it. Tested at 35,000 kg (77 000 lb) without deformation and without breaking.
The Know Rope Friendly recovery hook is designed to fit a trailer bar with a 50 mm x 50 mm (AS4177) hook receiver. Check the rating in the trailer system before use.

24 000 kg soft Technora Bound HDX
While Knowledge Offroad has launched high-strength soft shackles in the past, nothing compares to the strength and durability of our Technora Bound HDX soft shackle of 24 000 kg. Although it only has a diameter of 10% larger than our 17 000 kg tied shackle, it is a surprising 40% more resistant. This is achieved by using our patented mixed coated fiber, SaberPro, and our latest shackle design.
With this resistance level, this shackle is ideal for 4×4 extra-large, 4×4 trailers, light and medium commercial vehicles and some military, agricultural and mining applications. This shackle not only offers a minimum breakage resistance of 24 000 kg, but Technora fixation offers a truly resistant protection to cuts for the KnowledgePro core. There is simply no more durable shackle on the market today.
As with the other products of the Knowledge Offroad chain range, this product is designed to be a safer, stronger, lighter and easy-to-use alternative to other shackles (both soft and metal). Having tested the shackles in an NATA-accredited facility in Melbourne, Knowledge Offroad shackles work at a higher level compared to many other proven products in the competition. Having the unique Technora union on the soft shackle Know Pro itself, provides those who recover your vehicle the confidence that this product cannot be easily damaged, even during more extreme impacts or abrasions.
