N4 OFFROAD is the first French manufacturer of equipment and accessories for 4x4 off-road vehicles.

The N4-OFFROAD brand was founded in 2003, but it was acquired in 2007 by a French leader in 4x4 equipment and preparations, and it was gradually promoted with stronger applications of duralumin protectors. Both the design and manufacturing are carried out entirely in France.

The main function of these accessories is to protect the lower mechanical parts of the vehicle exposed to possible breakages and impacts, and they offer numerous advantages such as:

- Very easy assembly without having to make modifications to the vehicle.

- Assembly with countersunk head screws in areas exposed to possible scratches.

- They preserve the vehicle's cooling outlets.

- The protectors allow the vehicle's oil to be changed without having to disassemble them.

- They are delivered with all the elements necessary for installation (brackets, screws and assembly diagram in Spanish).

- They protect both chassis and mechanical elements while optimising the angles of attack characteristic of off-road use.

- They have no sharp edges, avoiding injuries during handling, installation or maintenance work on the vehicle.

- N4-OFFROAD protection plates are made of high quality duralumin 5083-H111 and 5086-H111, which provide high resistance to deformation and corrosion.

- Depending on their function, position and application, they are manufactured in thicknesses of 8, 6 or 5 mm depending on the case.

Types of N4-OFFROAD protections

Front protections:

- Improve the ability to overcome obstacles while facilitating sliding over them.

- For vehicles with a rigid axle, they protect the parts located between the bumper and the axle.

- For vehicles with independent suspension, they protect all parts between the front and rear bumper of the subframe, engine and steering rack.

- They generally allow the engine oil to be drained and the oil filters to be replaced without having to be disassembled. They are made of 8 mm aluminium (with the exception of some SUVs).

Gearbox and transfer:

When crossing obstacles, including stones or dunes, the vehicle may have to slide over them and the transfer box which is in this position, it is advisable to protect it.

These protections can be one or two parts: protection of gearboxes and transfer in a single plate or independent protection for each one. These protection plates have the minimum possible holes to facilitate sliding over obstacles while always protecting the gearbox.

The transfer box part is made of 8 mm duralumin to support the weight of the vehicle with minimal deformation, while the gearbox part is usually 6 mm.

Fuel tank:

Often, due to their position, fuel tanks are too exposed, so we must protect them.

Our tank protectors are made of 5 or 6 mm duralumin. depending on the applications.

Shock absorber protectors:

When the rear shock absorbers are placed in front of the axle, stones can cause significant damage both in terms of damping and fixing, so it is important to protect them.

N4 OFFROAD develops shock absorber protectors made of 8 mm thick high-density polyethylene because they absorb stone impacts better than metal.
